Intellicast Currrent US Surface Analysis Map  A surface map of the US which shows the current major weather features and where precipitation is occuring. The 12 hour forecast map shows what these same features will be 12 hours from now. Or check out the 24 hour forecast map, the 36 hour forecast map, or the 48 hour forecast map. Any of these US Maps can be clicked to zoom in on the same forecast for a particular region of the country.

Intellicast Greenville Metro Radar   Unfortunately, the Intellicast Metro radar is not available for Vandalia, but the Greenville Metro radar image includes Vandalia and much of Fayette County. It is one of the best single radar image available of the area with extremely high resolution.  It is updated 4 times per hour.

Weather Channel Midwest  Satellite Image  This Satellite image is color enhanced to show the clouds with the highest tops. Occasionally, the highest, coldest cloud tops produce the heaviest precipitation.

Intellicast Weather Vandalia Forecast  This site is the best single site on the Internet for Vandalia weather imagery. Their Historic Precipitation page shows a map of precipitation over much of the Midwest for the past 24 hours.
